When the license server is running correctly on a server and the firewall on the server is properly configured to allow communication with the workstations, you need to configure the workstations as well.

 

You need to do the following on each workstation:

 

•A firewall configuration might in some rare cases be needed on the workstation, in a similar way as was done on the server. (In most cases that is not needed).

 

•You need to specify the IP address of the server where the license server is running.

 

•If you do not use the default port (1280), you need to specify the port as well.

 

If you only have one license and you have therefore placed the license server on the workstation, you do not need to make any firewall configurations.
