You can easily move a boundary box using the ordinary Move command. The Move symbols command will work fine as well, for the same purpose.
However, if you need to change the size of a boundary box, like expanding it in any direction, or shrink its size, you cannot use commands like Stretch or similar. The reason for this, is that the boundary box is a symbol, and symbols cannot be stretched. This means that another method is needed, and such a method is also available.
You can change the size or position of any boundary box at any time you wish. You do that with the Size and position >> button, which implies that you specify the lower left and the upper right corner once again.
When you click the Size and position >> button, the following happens:
•You are first asked for the lower left corner.
•Then, you are asked for the upper right corner.
•Finally, you are asked to confirm your specifications.
The command line dialogue is shown below.
--- EDIT BOUNDARY BOX ---
Determine location and appearance of boundary box.
Enter lower left corner (point): <LEFT_MOUSE_CLICK>
Enter upper right corner (point): <LEFT_MOUSE_CLICK>
Correct (<Y>/N): <RETURN>
If you answer the final question with Yes, which by the way is the default, you will come back to the main Boundary box dialogue. If you answer with No, the first two questions will be repeated.
When you finally answer with Yes and then exit the dialogue with the OK button, the new size will take effect.
Please note, that instead of specifying the lower left and upper right corner, you can specify the lower right and the upper left, or you can do it in the opposite order. The only thing that matters, is that you specify two opposite corners of the box.
