Manual editing of several identical wire-numbers

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

The same method as was described in the previous sub-topic, namely to edit the wire-number of a single wire, may be used for several wires with identical wire-numbers, as long as they belong to separate wire-chains.

The reason for this limitation is of course that you can never have multiple identical wire-numbers in the same sub-node (wire-chain), since that would be ambiguous.

The procedure to edit such wire-numbers, begins with selecting the involved wires, as shown in the figure below.

Figure 1804: These selected wires have identical wire-numbers and belong to separate wire-chains. Therefore, you can change the wire-number for all of them in one single operation.

If the selected wires and their current wire-numbers meet the above stated requirements, the current wire-number will be available for direct editing to the right in the Wire-number field, as shown in the figure above. Change it according to your wish!

To transfer the edited wire-number to the selected wires in the wire-list, click the Update button in the lower right part of the dialogue.

Finally, to transfer changed wire-numbers from the wire-list to the circuit diagrams, click the Apply button even further down to the right.
