When WAN mode is active, is it possible to enhance performance even further by also enabling Fully automatic local mode for projects.

 

When this feature is active, a project that you open is automatically transferred to your local hard disk, thereby further improving performance. Temporarily moving a project in that way is called "setting the project in local mode". When you close the project, all changes that you have made will be automatically transferred to the server.

 

A manual way of setting projects to local mode is also available. The result is the same, but with the automatic variant, the user does not have to worry about anything.
