Since every cable core is a help symbol of its own, every cable core has an attribute for its item designation (the cable number). This is important to have in mind if you would like to make changes in your cables, such as changing the cable number. Subsequently, it will not be sufficient to change the visible item designation in the circuit diagram. If you would do that, only the item designation of the main symbol is changed. All help symbols, that means all the cable cores, will then still have their original item designation, and thereby lose their relationship with the main symbol. In cases like that you would have created an error.
