In the Text and Attributes panel of the Home tab in the ribbon menu, you select the Copy/Edit Edit command, as shown in the figure below.

 

 

Select the entire cable, including all its cable cores, using a Window. Change the item designation of the cable in the first dialogue box that appears. Click OK. cadett ELSA will thereafter suggest the same change of item designation as you did in that first dialogue box, for the rest of the cores. Please, confirm every such suggested change by clicking the OK button in the respective dialogue box. The advantage with this method is that you will be in total control over each cable core, both when item designation and core numbers are concerned. The disadvantage is that you will have to do a lot of clicking.
