Figure 432: The "Composition of potential reference names" section
In the Composition of potential reference names section, you define how the potential reference names should be composed. Potential reference names are assembled of separate parts, in a similar way as item designations and cross-references are.
cadett ELSA can automatically complete a specified potential reference name, for instance L1, with plant and/or location so that you will get, for instance, =A1;L1. In that way you can have several L1's in different parts of your project, without any interference. L1 that belongs to one plant/function is regarded as another L1 than one that belongs to a different plant/function. In other words, they will not be connected, as long as the plant designation differ them.
To be able to perform such a completion, the way potential reference names are composed must be defined. The section that is discussed here contains that definition.
•A separate sub-topic named How to edit the composition describes how you edit it.
•A table describing all available parts and how they are used, is found in a separate sub-topic named Parts for potential reference names.
•The check-box labelled Synchronise separator character with conventional devices is described in a separate sub-topic of its own.
