Wires between numbering areas

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Most wires are assumed to both begin and end within the same numbering area, for example a cabinet.

But, how should we treat wires that begin in one numbering area and ends in another? In cadett ELSA before R43.0.2.0, such wires always belonged to the numbering area where the wire-chain to which they belonged started. In the new Wire-list Editor, this has become a matter of configuration, with multiple options available.
