The numbering areas of a project constitutes the foundation for wire-numbering. Please refer to the General orientation about numbering areas sub-topic, for a detailed explanation of the concept.

A typical wire unambiguously belongs to a specific numbering area, but sometimes you have wires that starts in one numbering area and ends in another.
