The two buttons in the Wire-numbering section, which are shown in the figure above, are used to perform an automatic wire-numbering.
Please note that it is also possible to perform manual wire-numbering in the wire-list. That is described in the Wire-number topic.
•The All wires button will perform an automatic numbering of all wires that are currently displayed in the wire-list.
•With the Selected wires button, you can perform an automatic numbering of a sub-set of all displayed wires, by first selecting the wires that you want to number, and then click this button.
The Overwrite unlocked check-box is described in the sub-topic with the same name. Please refer to that.
An automatic numbering will take several factors into consideration, the result of which may be that certain wires are left untouched or unnumbered.
If a wire already has a number, for instance since you have numbered it manually in the circuit diagram, the automatic wire-numbering will take this into consideration.
•Connections which are defined as cable cores will not be wire-numbered.
•Some connections which are wires, may also be excluded from wire-numbering, by settings in the project parameters.
