Software based licenses are associated with one particular computer or server. You can choose yourself which one that should be.
Placing it on a server makes the license available from any computer connected to the server, but of course requires an active server connection.
Placing it on the very computer where cadett ELSA will be used, offers great flexibility since you can use the license anywhere, without the need for network or internet connections. On the other hand, the license cannot typically be used on any other computer.
In any case, if the license manager software has not yet been installed and configured, you need to do that now. Please refer to the topic named Software based licenses where you find an extensive and complete description of both background and actual procedures.
