If you click the Insertion point button, marked Ins.point >>, you will be asked to specify a new insertion point for the current terminal. In other words, you can use this button to move a terminal.

Please note however, that you will then get a simple "AutoCAD Move", meaning that no line-break and no line-close operations will be performed. Please also note that the SNAP setting will not be adjusted either, which will limit the usefulness of this feature somewhat. In most cases, moving terminals is better done using either the Move command, when one or many terminals including lines are to be moved, or the Move symbols command, to move one or many terminals from one position to another, where the lines remains in place. In the latter case, the remaining gaps will be automatically closed, and a line-break will be performed in the new position.

A situation where the Insertion point button is however quite useful, is when inserting a single terminal in "free air", meaning not on any line, and where you immediately find that the chosen position is not quite what you had in mind. Instead of cancelling the operation and start all over again, you can simply click this button and select a new position for the terminal.
