When the project is prepared and you have made a note of the SOURCE directory, time has come to copy the original DWG files to the SOURCE directory of the project. The copying itself can be made with an arbitrary tool, like for instance the Windows File Explorer.
As has already been mentioned, it is important that the length of the filenames do not exceed the configured filename length of the project. If it does, you need to adjust the filenames.
It is also important not to have any forbidden characters in the filenames. Lower case letters, national characters, spaces, and other separator characters than minus and underscore are examples of such illegal characters. Allowed characters are A-Z, 0-9, minus ("-"), and underscore ("_").
If the your filenames do not fully comply, please rename them.
After the DWG files are in place in the SOURCE directory of the project, it is time to convert them to the DXF file format. Please refer to the topic that is listed below.
