The colour can be specified separately for each wire, meaning that multiple different colours may occur within the same wire-chain.
There are three possible ways of defining colours. These methods are described below, with increasing priority.
▪A default colour can be specified in the project parameters.
▪Colour can also be specified in a property symbol.
▪Finally, colour can be specified in a wire-number symbol.
The property symbol has priority over the project parameters, and the wire-number symbol has priority over both the other ways of specifying colours.
▪The default colour that is specified in the project parameters is valid for all wires in the entire project, for which nothing else is specified.
▪The range of a colour that is specified in a property symbol can be either a Node or a Sub-node. Which it will be, is specified in the property symbol using a radio button. The Via (wire) option is currently not implemented. Please refer to the Property symbol topic.
▪A colour that is specified in a wire-number symbol, is always valid for one single wire only.
