When main symbol exists

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Indexes in all help symbols with function codes that are specified here will be ignored when device lists are created, if a corresponding main symbol exists, meaning if a main symbol exists with the same item designation as the current help symbol.

If the field is left empty, no help symbols will be affected of this setting.

If you enter an asterisk ("*") in the field, all help symbols will be affected.

The third option is to enter specific function codes, separated with commas if you want to specify more than one, and possibly using wild-cards to be more general. The asterisk wild-card can be used in the beginning, as well as in the end of the specification. For instance, *S* means all function codes which contain the letter S.
