This parameter is only used when the numbering range is specified as Project, where the numbering series for the counting numbers cover the entire project. In all other cases, this parameter does not matter.

 

The specification of this parameter decides how many unused numbers that should be left, when shifting to the next sheet or combination of function (plant) and location, depending on the defined numbering range.

 

The spare number can be set to 0. In that case, no spare numbers at all will be left unused.

 

If the spare number is set to a value other than 0, the combination of this parameter and the next one, Module for restart of numbering after spare, will determine how the final result becomes.
