<< Click to Display Table of Contents >> Remove catalogue name in index when redundant |
When you enter an index for a symbol by choosing a resource in the catalogue, the selected index is completed with the name of the catalogue. This enables the usage of multiple catalogues at the same time in a project.
However, if you mainly use one single catalogue, this will result in a lot unnecessary text in the drawing sheets, when the name of the catalogue is repeated over and over again, in every index.
On the other hand, if you activate this feature, the index, in the situation described above, will be written without the catalogue name if the catalogue name is equal to the default catalogue. This means that the catalogue name is redundant, meaning that it does not contribute with any information that is not already known.
