Here, you specify which drawing frame to use with the project in question.

The drawing frame is a complete drawing sheet (a DXF file) which does not have any contents other than the drawing frame itself. When you create a new drawing sheet, the drawing frame DXF file is copied to the correct directory and given a suitable name.

Figure 289: The current selection of drawing frame is shown to the left. To the right, you can make a new selection using a drop-down list.

The Drawing frame field contains the file name of the drawing frame DXF file. It is not possible to type the file name. Instead you must use the drop-down list that you can access using the arrow to the right, as shown in the figure above. When you click the arrow, a drop-down list with all available drawing frames is displayed, and you can therefore easily make your selection. Please refer to the figure below.

All drawing frames are located in a common directory called X:\ELSA\I\ZV\MASKEN or similar, dependent on your installation of cadett ELSA. The files that are shown in the drop-down list are the DXF-files that reside in that particular directory.

Details about drawing frames, like how they are created and which requirements they must meet, are discussed in the Drawing Manager topic, and more specifically in the Drawing frame and mask sub-topic.
