If you select Location, you will get a view which pretty much looks the same as if you had selected Plant.

 

All location designations in the current project will be listed. Below each location designation, you will find all item designations belonging to that location. Below each item designation you will find all symbols with that item designation.

 

When you have selected a specific symbol, all its data is presented in the right part of the screen, and you can even edit attribute related data. This is described in sub-topics Editing of general attributes and Editing item designation.

 

In other words, this alternative works in the same way the Plant alternative. Please therefore refer to the Plant sub-topic.
