The Item designation (devices) selection includes the item designations of all conventional devices, meaning that PLC’s, terminals, and cables are not included. Apart from that, the result will be like with the Item designation (all) alternative, which is described in the previous sub-topic.

 

When you have selected a specific symbol, all its data is presented in the right part of the screen, and you can even edit attribute related data. This is described in sub-topics Editing of general attributes and Editing item designation.

 

So, this alternative works in a similar way as the Plant alternative. Please therefore refer to the Plant sub-topic.
