Here you choose if the automatic item designation generation OnLine should be on or off.

 

If you choose to deactivate this feature, the cadett ELSA Drawing Environment will act in the same way as ancient versions did, before automatic OnLine item designation generation was introduced. In other words, you will have to enter your item designations manually.

 

In some situations, like for documentation of existing plants, it can in fact be an advantage to have automatic item designation generation deactivated.
