The key of an existing user defined project parameter can by definition not be altered, since the key name is equal to the identity of the parameter. If you want a different key, you therefore have to delete the existing parameter and then create a new one, or the other way around.

 

Changing any other property of an existing parameter is done the following way:

 

•First select the parameter in question in the dialogue. Then simply edit the properties of it directly in the dialogue.

 

•Increasing the maximum length of a parameter is not very dramatic. Doing the opposite might be however, since loss of data might be a consequence further down the road. Careful consideration is advised.

 

•Other changes are not as critical.
