No graphics check-box

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

The No graphics check-box is available when creating new contacts only. When editing existing ones, it is greyed out. The description below therefore deals with new contacts only.

If you do not check No graphics, you will get graphics! This means that by default, you will get not only the connection point numbers defined for you, but also the graphics drawn for you. After all, the contacts should in most cases always look the same, so why not?

On the other hand, if you for one reason or the other do not want to use the standard appearance of the contacts, you can check the No graphics check-box. If you do, you will insert a function object with connection point numbers and a cross-reference, but no graphics. You will then have to draw the contact yourself.

Figure 835: Two functions, one make contact and one break contact have been defined, both with graphics. The arrows point at the positions of the cross-references.

Figure 836: Two functions, equal to the previous figure, have been defined, but in this case without graphics. It is then up to the user to draw the contacts using ordinary AutoCAD objects, like lines and circles.
