To be able to use the New Service Management Feature the cadett service must first be installed on the server.

 

This is done the following way:

 

1.At the server console please open a command prompt (“DOS window”) as administrator.

 

2.Using suitable commands please make the main directory of cadett ELSA the current directory.        
 
Example:
 
D:
CD \CADETT\ELSA

 

3.Enter the following command to register the cadett service:
 
CADETT –SERVICE

 

4.Enter the following command to start the cadett service:
 
NET START CADETT

 

When the cadett service is running the New Service Management Feature is ready to use.
