As shown in the figure above, the cables are divided in groups (headline GROUP). The groups are indivisible for the generation since they are intertwined, meaning that they are related.

 

So, you cannot split the groups, but the order between the groups and the direction of the groups, meaning what is on the upper or the lower side respectively, is changeable:

 

-You move a group by selecting one of the rows within it and then clicking either the Up or the Down button.

 

-You switch the direction of a group by selecting one of the rows within it, and then clicking the Direction button.

 

Changes that you do in the way that is described above are saved in the current project, which means that the next time you are going to generate an External Connection Diagram in the same project, your changes will still be there, despite the fact that you will have to make a new collect.

 

If you for one reason or the other want to get back to the initial conditions, that is to get rid of any changes that you have made, you use the Reset button.
