If the Hide cable cores check-box is activated, as shown in the figure below, no cable cores will be displayed in the wire-list, regardless of other possible filters or selections.

 

 

Hiding cable cores in this way will make the wire-list shorter and therefore easier to navigate, but the fact that some connections will be left out, may also sometimes be confusing, especially if the definitions of which connections constitute cables are incorrect in some way.
