The Catalogue in cadett ELSA is used to maintain resources, the same type of information that the catalogues published by suppliers of electrical equipment contain.
This resource information can be referenced from your circuit diagrams and in that way be utilised in an intelligent way.
So-called Client/Server database technology is used for the Catalogue, which enables multiple simultaneous users to work with the Catalogue with preserved performance and safety. This means that the workstations are connected to a single central database server that handles the Catalogue database. Searches are made by the server. Only the results are thereafter sent to the workstation.
