You can choose which type of devices you want to present. As you probably already know, there are four different types of item designations in cadett ELSA:

 

1.Ordinary devices

2.Terminals and connectors

3.Cables

4.PLC’s

 

On top of that a fifth alternative is available, namely Potential references. They are of course by no means devices, but for sure symbols. The Device list of Dynamic OnLine II can therefore not display them, but the Symbol list can.

 

The selected type of item designation is used together with the PDS Filter. Both criteria must be met for a device or symbol to be presented in the list.
