The Drawing Manager puts all files that belong to a project (mask files, drawing sheets, databases and so forth) in a SOURCE directory and a TARGET directory. In this field you specify where the SOURCE directory should be located.

 

The SOURCE directory is the directory where you have your drawing sheets when you are working with them. That is where the name comes from.

 

The SOURCE directory is specified when a project is created. It is not possible to change the SOURCE directory of an existing project.

 

Therefore, if you want to place the project elsewhere, the only way of doing that is to create a copy of the project and to specify the desired SOURCE directory for that copy.
