Using this parameter, you control if connection point numbers in help symbols that fails to find a free spot in a corresponding mirror symbol, should be replaced with asterisks or not.
The standard setting, which in most cases are the preferred one, is active, meaning that a replacement should indeed be made.
The alternative, which also has its advantages, is inactive, meaning that no such replacement should be made.
