The Origin field can most suitably be used for stating a possible original, like a project that was copied as starting point.

 

This field corresponds to the !ORIGINAL report variable, which you can use in your report definitions.

 

The corresponding field name in the project parameters database (PROJECTS.DBF) is URSPRUNG. You can use that in the mask file for the Drawing Manager.

 

The field length is 40 characters.
