The mask file can be written either as an ASCII or an ANSI encoded text file.
ASCII (MS-DOS) has a different coding of national characters such as Å, Ä and Ö than ANSI (Windows).
Nowadays, ANSI is normally now used, but for compatibility reasons it is possible to use the older ASCII format.
To enable ANSI code for the mask file, the first line of the file should start as follows:
;[ANSI]
This means that the decoding takes place with ANSI. If such a line is missing, the mask file is interpreted according to ASCII.
