What is a cadett ELSA symbol?

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

A cadett ELSA symbol contains both graphical and logical information. It consists of two parts:

The first part is an ordinary AutoCAD block with attributes. The attributes will contain item designation, electrical data, index, and other text information associated with the symbol. Attributes can be either visible or invisible.

The second part is information stored in a symbol database. This information mainly concerns the connections of the symbol, but also things like the resource type and the component type letter code.

More detailed information about this can be found in the Technical details topic.
