Terminal main symbol

User defined terminals are very much different than the standard ones. Standard terminals are inserted with a macro, and they contain two symbols each, one graphic and one logical. The macro will take care of line breaking, based on the assumption that the terminals are circular with a specified diameter (normally 1.25 or 2.5 mm).

User defined terminals are more like other symbols. You insert them one by one, as any other symbol.

Please note however, that cadett ELSA also supports a third kind of terminal. It is a legacy feature called Multi terminal, which is especially aimed at enabling user defined appearances for terminals that can nevertheless be inserted using a macro.

Here, we will focus on a user defined terminal as an ordinary symbol.
