Manual syntax checking

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

When you have written a new script sequence, or having trouble with an existing one, you can manually check the syntax, using the syntax check feature. That is done by simply clicking the Check syntax button in the lower right part of the Script Generator.

If the script sequence you are working with contains commands that are not a part of the Command Dictionary, you will be given information of that.

The figure above shows the result of a manual syntax check. In the presented command window, information is displayed about an error in the second line of the main part of the script sequence. PRINT is an unknown command. In fact the correct name of the command to plot the current drawing sheet is PLOT.
