Convert old script sequences

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

With the Convert old script sequences command, you are able to convert script sequences from cadett ELSA 5.5 and older. Please note that cadett ELSA 5.5 was released in 1999, so we are talking really old stuff here!

Back in those days, between 1990 and the year 2000, all script sequences were stored in a single database file named AUTOSCR.DBF. If such a database file is not available, which it will not be unless you have imported data from a very old version of cadett ELSA, you will simply get the error message shown in the figure below, if you try this command.

Basically the script sequences of that generation were similar to the current ones. However, differences in the behaviour of AutoCAD still makes it highly likely that such script sequences need some adaptation in order to work properly in the current versions of cadett ELSA and AutoCAD.
