Tables of contents

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

There are two table of contents databases (*Z.DBF) available for each sub-project. One is located in the SOURCE directory and one in the TARGET directory. They describe the content of the respective directories. A summarized table of content (*Y.DBF) can also be created, to be used for generation of tables of contents covering both the SOURCE and the TARGET directories.

The *Y.DBF contains all records from both *Z.DBF's, with the addition of a field that contains information of from which directory each record originates. The name of that field is DIR. A report variable called !DIR is associated with that field. The content of the DIR field for records originating from the SOURCE directory is "SOURCE". In the corresponding way, "TARGET" is the content of the DIR field for records from the TARGET directory.
