Connection lists and wire numbering

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

This check-box controls if the OnLine Engine should interpret connections in the circuit diagrams or not.

With this project parameter activated, lines which are drawn in electrical layers between symbols are interpreted as connections. These connections will be checked and interpreted, which enables generation of wire lists, terminal lists, cable lists and other connection documents.  Wire numbering and handling of connection properties such as colours, dimensions and node numbers, are also made possible, among other related features.

With this project parameter deactivated, nothing of the above said will be available. Terminal lists are still possible to create, but those lists  will only specify existence of terminals, not include any information of how they are connected.

Technical note

The connection handling limitations of cadett ELSA LT, cadett ELSA Basic and cadett ELSA Start, are identical to the having this project parameter deactivated in cadett ELSA Professional or cadett ELSA Enterprise.
