The order between the rows in the terminal list

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Primarily, the terminals in terminal list are presented sorted in the order specified by the project parameters.

Here, there are two variants available. Either the sequence is controlled by the terminal numbers, or by the positions of the terminal symbols in the circuit diagram.

Which way to go, is settled by a project parameter named Sequence between terminals controlled by.

It is important to note, that the calculation of spare terminals is only possible to perform if you have chosen to use terminal numbers as the basis for the sequence. If you choose to sort your terminals based on the positions in the circuit diagram, no spare terminals are calculated.

It is not possible to control the order in the terminal list of Dynamic OnLine I by clicking the headlines or similar. The reason is that the result of such a sorting would be meaningless and/or undefined, since there are specific rules in place, which controls exactly in which order the terminals should be presented. In most cases, that is the physical order in which they are mounted in the cabinet.
