After you have decided which property to filter on, you must enter a comparison text which the selected property should be filtered against.

 

If you, for instance, want the filter to only display objects belonging to a specific plant i.e., which have a specific plant designation, you active the Filter on plant option and enter the plant designation in question in the comparison text field below, in the text field that is available for the purpose.

 

Besides entering a comparison text manually, you can also use the browse button. Another useful option is the ability to use wild-cards. In the two sub-topics that are listed below, these features are described in more detail.
