The commands of the Option Handling feature

In this section you will find a detailed description of how the Option Handling Feature is used.

 

The actions related to Option Handling are performed using a set of five commands, which can be accessed from the Ribbon menu, from a Toolbar, from the pull-down menu or manually typed on the command line. The table below constitutes a brief summary of them. Detailed descriptions of the respective commands are available using the provided links.

Create

Create new options by specifying their names and colours.

 

Add/remove objects

CAELOPTIONSOBJECTS

Add objects to, or remove objects from, existing options.

 

Modify

CAELOPTIONSMODIFY

Modify existing options, like activating or deactivating them, changing their names or colours, or deleting them.

 

Merge

CAELOBJECTSMERGE

Merge two or more options into one.

 

Recreate

CAELOPTIONSRECREATE

Recreate option definitions based on the content of the drawing sheets of the current project.
