Split connection

Once you realise the finesse of the manual method described in the Direct manipulation in the list topic, you may think that the same method could be useful for wire-chains without errors as well. The only problem is that in correct wire-chains, you will not have any half connections to drag and drop.

 

The Split connection command changes that by splitting a selected wire in its ingoing and outgoing side respectively, thereby making manual rearrangements possible.

 

You right-click on a wire and choose the Split connection command. The wire will then be split apart, as if it contained errors. You can then use the same technique as described in the Direct manipulation in the list topic to control the wiring sequence.
