Global changes in multiple fields at once

It is also possible, in the same way, to globally change multiple fields or columns at once.

If you for example want to specify both function/plant and location for multiple drawing sheets at once, you can do so in the following way:

Start by selecting all drawing sheets, which you want to change this way. Use <SHIFT>, <CTRL> and <CTRL_A> in the survey in the same way as described in the Global edit topic.

Keep the <SHIFT> or the <CTRL> key pressed down. Click twice in the function/plant field in the same line (on the same drawing sheet) that you selected last. Please note that you should not double-click. It must be two single clicks after one another.

Fill in the desired function/plant designation, like for instance =A2.

Once again, press the <SHIFT> or the <CTRL> key, and click twice in the location field on the same line, while keeping the <SHIFT> or <CTRL> key pressed down.

Fill in the desired location designation, like for instance +S2.

Repeat this for any additional fields that you want to edit for the same selection of drawing sheets.

Finally, release the <SHIFT> and <CTRL> keys. Click on another line or field without pressing the <SHIFT> or <CTRL> key down.

Your changes are then applied for all selected drawing sheets.

The changes that you have made will be transferred to the title fields of the drawing sheets when you issue the Reorganise command.
