What the commands do

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

One of the commands increases the text height of a selected attribute. The other one decreases the text height. After activating one of these commands, you simply click on the attribute that you want to adjust. For each click, the text height is adjusted one-step with a factor approximately equal to the square root of two (text heights of 1.0, 1.3, 1.8, 2.5, 3.5, 5.0, 7.0 and 10.0 mm). When applicable, the layer of the attribute in question is automatically adjusted accordingly.

Example:

An attribute with 2.5 mm text height located in layer ATTRIB25, for instance Electrical data (ELD), will automatically be moved to layer ATTRIB18 if the text height is decreased one step to 1.8 mm. If the text height instead is increased one step to 3.5 mm, the attribute is automatically moved to layer ATTRIB35.

Attributes that are not located in layers for specific text heights, like index, will remain in the same layer when the text height is adjusted.
