Super projects

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

If your projects start to get very big, a division into several projects is required. The disadvantage of such a division is that references between conventional projects cannot be handled automatically. Using super projects, that is however made possible.

A super project is like a box containing several sub-projects. The super project itself does not contain any drawing sheets in the SOURCE directory, like circuit diagrams or cabinet layouts. The super project only contains sub-projects, which in turn contain the drawing sheets. Reports may however be created in the super project itself, but they will end up in the TARGET directory.

Super projects can be used to manage projects of several thousand drawing sheets, for example for documentation of entire plants.
