There are two options:

FMT (text)

Use this option when you want reports in the form of text files or printed as simple text. By using the good old ASCII code (the character code used by MS-DOS, before Microsoft Windows) you have a possibility to use so-called semi-graphics, which is a simplified graphics with horizontal and vertical single and double lines.

DXF (AutoCAD)

Use this option when you want reports in the form of drawing sheets. This alternative is the most flexible one since you have access to all the text and graphic opportunities that AutoCAD provides. For example, you can use different fonts like AutoCAD fonts, TTF (TrueType) or PostScript.

Excel

Excel forms are not specified here. Please refer to the Excel Report Generation topic.

FMT forms consists of text files in either ASCII or ANSI format with the file type FMT. They are located in the directory \ELSA\II\REPORTS\FMT.

DXF forms consists of DXF files, that is AutoCAD drawing sheets. They are located in the directory \ELSA\II\REPORTS\DXF.

When you select one of these two alternatives, you also select which files should be available when you click the Form button.
