Figure 374:  The check-box

This check-box specifies if boundary boxes should be interpreted as defining levels or not.

If you activate this setting,  boundary boxes will by default define sub-levels of the definition made in the upper left corner of the drawing frame. Boundary boxes inside other boundary boxes will define sub-levels of sub-levels.

If you deactivate the setting, boundary boxes will instead define exceptions from the definition in the drawing frame. In other words, you will get a flat structure without levels.

Please refer to the Multiple level item designations topic, and also the sub-topic named Example of multiple level designations for a further explanation of all this.
