As described in the Introduction, cadett ELSA is subdivided into a number of modules. Each of them has its own icon in the top of the screen directly below the pull-down menus.

The modules are the following, counted from left to right:

The Projects Module with which you keep your projects in good order.

The Drawing Manager, which you use to manage all the drawing sheets within a project.

Dynamic Online I, which gives you the possibility to edit the lists OnLine.

Dynamic Online II, which is a further development of Dynamic Online I, but which currently does not offer all the functionality of number one and therefore exists in parallel with that.

The Report Generator, that creates list like device lists and wire lists.

The Script Generator is used for plotting, among other things.

The Translator, which translates drawing sheets between different languages.

The Catalogue, which manages resource information.

The Settings Module is used for settings that are not project related.

A brief description of these modules is found in a sub-topic of the Introduction, named The Modules of cadett ELSA.

You can switch between the modules by clicking the associated icons. For example, you activate the Catalogue by clicking the Catalogue icon. You can then see on the screen that you are running the Catalogue. A lot of resource information is shown and on the top of the screen you can read the name of the module in plain language (”Catalogue”).

To move back to the Project Module you simply click the Projects icon.
