Adding a line in the mask file as described below, will enable support for user-defined file types such as Word and Excel documents by default. Manual activation will then not be needed.
In fact, the field in the table of contents database file (*Z.DBF) that is defined by the line in question, is identical with what is added to the database file when manually activating user-defined file types.
