The embedded viewer can use black or white background colour, or it can be turned off completely.

 

The three available options are described in the table below.

If you do not want to use a viewer at all, you can turn off that functionality completely, with this option.

 

If your drawing sheets are extremely complex, like huger cabinet layout drawings or similar, the Viewer might slow the Drawing Manager down, resulting in acceptable week performance. In that case, you can solve the problem by simply turning the Viewer off.

 

If you have a corrupted DXF file in your project, which the Viewer can not open, cadett ELSA might be forced to close entirely. To avoid immediately running into the same problem again when you restart cadett ELSA, the viewer can be automatically turned off in that situation. After you have resolved the problem, perhaps by deleting the corrupted drawing sheet, you can activate the Viewer again, using one of the two options above.
